An established and highly regarded commercial construction business is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of commercial projects and a reputation for delivering quality outcomes, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused construction professional looking to advance their career.
The Role
Working closely with Project Managers and site delivery teams, you will be responsible for the financial and contractual administration of multiple commercial construction projects from procurement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements
- Procurement and engagement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Assessment and processing of subcontractor claims
- Management of project variations
- Cost control, forecasting and budget management
- Preparation of progress claims and payment schedules
- Contract administration and compliance
- Financial reporting and project tracking
- Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Relevant construction, quantity surveying, engineering or project management qualifications
